Ideal for visitors wishing to drive to their cross-Solent connection, there is a large car park on Clarence Esplanade in Southsea, Sat-Nav PO5 3AP, immediately opposite Hovertravel’s terminal
After your short Solent crossing, just walk across the footbridge to Ryde Bus Station from where our vintage services will take you direct to the Isle of Wight Bus & Coach Museum: click – Find the Event – By Bus. for further details
By Train & Catamaran

Visitors preferring to reach their cross-Solent connection by rail should travel to Portsmouth Harbour station to catch Wightlink’s Catamaran service from Portsmouth to Ryde. Having disembarked the catamaran at Ryde Pier Head, either walk along the pier, or use the Island Line train service, to Ryde Esplanade (Bus Station) from where our free services will take you direct to the Isle of Wight Bus and Coach Museum: click – Find the Event – By Bus. for further details.
Alternatively, take the Island Line train to Ryde St John’s Road and follow the brown museum signs along Monkton Street for a short walk to the Isle of Wight Bus & Coach Museum.
